The fans of Shaheer Sheikh have totally read it right in the headline. It is true and it is happening. After being Arjun in Mahabharat, Dev in Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi and Salim in Dastaan-E-Mohobbat: Salim Anarkali, Shaheer is all set and rolling to embark on a new journey as he has been roped in to play the leading man in the spin-off to Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
The season of concept of spin-offs seem to be working well as Kundali Bhagya, a spin-off show is among the rating toppers for a long time now. The idea for a Yeh Rishta spin-off was in the works for a while and it seems to be finally coming into place with Shaheer being locked in as the male lead.
Producer Rajan Shahi confirmed the same with Bombay Times as he said Shaheer has been finalised to play the lead of the spin-off but the title of the show is yet to be finalized. He also mentioned that Shaheer will be seen in a character that is different from his earlier ventures.
