Outrage is the buzzword and we know why. A few days ago during The Kapil Sharma Show, Navjot Singh Sidhu made some remarks on the Pulwama terrorist attacks. His comments hurt the sentiments of many netizens and they started to demand that Sidhu should be sacked from the show.
Their rage was answered and soon Sidhu got replaced by Archana Puran Singh. Kapil Sharma however, came in support of Sidhu and had to bear the burns. He said that banning someone is not the solution and he must not have seen it coming that people will trend hashtags of banning him too.
Producer Ashoke Pandit even requested Salman Khan to take proper action against Kapil Sharma for standing by Sidhu for his controversial comments. Now after all this outpour of anger, Kapil has finally broken his silence and said that everyone has a different approach towards dealing with terrorists and how helping out families of the martyrs is a part of it. He also didn’t fail to mention that the Armed Forces of India will give an appropriate reply to the malefactors.
The producers of the show are still to take any action against Kapil as requested by the netizens and a few influential ones too. Kapil got back to TV after a break of almost an year. And landing in a situation so sensitive is in this phase of his career doesn’t seem like a treat for him.
