Karan-Preeta’s Mid-Air Romance at Zee Rishtey Awards is A Sight to Behold!

Dheeraj Dhoopar and Shraddha Arya of Kundali Bhagya‘s mesmerising romantic act on a stage floating 40 feet above the audience was a sight to remember…

It’s that time of the year when Zee TV acknowledges the contributions of innumerable actors, directors, producers, creative teams, technicians who work relentlessly around the clock to bring primetime shows with the celebration of ‘Zee Rishtey Awards’. This year, the annual awards show gets vacation vibes as viewers are invited to join their favourite Zee TV stars on a family holiday to a dream destination ‘Jashn-e-Pur’ on 29th December only on Zee TV.

The character of Karan Luthra, played by Dheeraj Dhoopar, in Kundali Bhagya is widely appreciated by the audience for his performance. The actor never fails to surprise us with his impeccable acts. This year, Dheeraj chose to go solo on Bekhayali and what better than a guitar as a prop for the song. Shraddha as Preeta, on the other hand, chose to perform on Pachtaoge. Taking things literally to another level, the Jodi then united on a larger-than-life, revolving stage which took flight 40 feet into the air where the Jodi performed to the romantic track Jab Tak Kahan in which their chemistry was palpable. The act caught everyone’s attention as the background dancers took their places on the numerous pianos around the aerial platform as they all synchronised themselves to put up an act which the audiences are bound to remember for years to come.

Dheeraj said, “We performed an aerial act together for Zee Rishtey Awards. Even though it was a beautiful romantic act and looked flawless for all those who were watching, it was very difficult as we were suspended 40 feet in the air. The stage was revolving, so the act was scary as well as fun. Of course, we rehearsed very hard to put up a good show and the end result was worth the effort. I hope people are looking forward to it.”

Seems like Dheeraj has taken inspiration from his solo act and would like to learn the guitar soon. He shared, “I would like to play the guitar for my lovely wife, Vinny Arora.”
