While she continues to bring out fresh twists and turns in Kumkum Bhagya, it looks like our very own Rhea had taken a small break from a shoot recently and travelled up North.

Zee TV’s popular fiction show, Kumkum Bhagya has been an audience favourite courtesy its intriguing plot and the authentic portrayal of relatable characters like Abhi (Shabbir Ahluwalia), Pragya (Sriti Jha), Rhea (Pooja Banerjee), Ranbir (Krishna Kaul) and Prachi (Mugdha Chapekar). After the lockdown rules were relaxed, the show had seen the new entry of Pooja Banerjee as Rhea and she has been creating a lot of drama, especially in Ranbir and Prachi’s life. While she continues to bring out fresh twists and turns in Kumkum Bhagya, it looks like our very own Rhea had taken a small break from a shoot recently and travelled up North.

The Kumkum Bhagya star visited the beautiful city of Chandigarh for a Punjabi song video shoot recently. But after wrapping up the shoot, she decided to extend her stay for a couple of days just to gorge on the mouth-watering Punjabi Delicacies. From Butter Chicken to Makke ki Roti to Sarso da Saag, Pooja had a feast during her stay in Chandigarh. In fact, the actress loved the cold weather as well.

Talking about her short trip, Pooja Banerjee mentioned, “After Lucknow, I travelled to Chandigarh during New Year’s Eve and stayed back for a couple of days and kickstarted 2021 with a bang. I shot for a Punjabi song video, post which, I decided to explore the city all over again and trust me, Chandigarh will make you fall in love with it every time you visit. The peaceful environment and the cold climate are a few of the things that I absolutely love about the city. In fact, even though I had to wear three layers of sweaters, I enjoyed my stay to the absolute core. I also love eating the special Punjabi delicacies that you get during winters. From yummy Butter Chicken to the authentic Makke ki Roti and Sarso da Saag to the chilled Lassi and whatnot, I didn’t think twice before eating during my stay in Chandigarh. I thoroughly enjoyed feasting on the Punjabi cuisine and can’t wait to go back once again and eat the mouth watering food once again.”

While Pooja Banerjee has returned to Mumbai for Kumkum Bhagya’s shoot, fresh twists are all set to rock the show with Abhi all set to get married to Meera. Will Abhi – Pragya’s relationship finally come to an end? Or will we witness a new twist?
