It is always the little things that matter and Manit Joura managed to pull off a sweet gesture while away. Here’s what he did.

With the lockdown gradually lifting and people across the country stepping out into the new normal, Zee TV resumed shoots of its shows and reconnected its audiences with the journeys of their beloved characters from 13th July. Kundali Bhagya, which has been the topmost show of the Indian Television industry, has also offered a rather interesting twist to its viewers after its comeback. While the wedding drama continues in Karan (played by Dheeraj Dhoopar) and Preeta’s (played by Shraddha Arya) life, our very own Manit Joura better known as Rishabh Luthra on the show was dealing with a separate minor crisis in his real sister’s life. However, the actor found a way to come to his sister’s rescue just a few days post Rakshabandhan.

Manit surprised his sister with a very special late Rakhi gift. While he couldn’t visit her in Delhi as he had been shooting and didn’t want to put anyone from his family at risk, he decided to send his sister a new phone as a replacement to her current one which she had accidentally broken.

As Manit who plays the role of Rishabh in Zee TV’s Kundali Bhagya revealed, “My sister always plans something special and surprises me every Rakshabandhan. This year too, she sent me a rakhi and a small gift. While I couldn’t meet her this time or fly in to surprise her, I knew she had just broken her phone and was using a spare one. So, I decided to give her a late Rakhi gift and ordered her a brand-new phone. It got delivered just a few days ago and she was over the moon after receiving it. I believe that Rakshabandhan doesn’t mean just protecting your sibling, but helping them out in every situation and while I am sure, she would’ve bought a new phone in a few days as well, I wanted to surprise her and gift her the best phone out there and that’s what I did.”

While Manit played the role of the best brother in real life, see him play Dheeraj Dhoopar’s reel-brother in Kundali Bhagya.
