All you need to know about Star Parivaar Awards 2015

Readers, hold on to your breath, as we are here to present exclusive information about the upcoming Star Parivaar Awards.

In its 15th year, Star Plus is definitely leaving no stones unturned to make the event a gala one.

Produced by Frames Productions, this year the awards night will bring something really spectacular for the viewers.

Firstly, as sources inform, the extravaganza will be primarily hosted by popular characters Raman (Karan Patel) and Titu (Priyanshu Jora). The sub-segments will see other characters turning anchors.

Shared a source, “The channel and production house have finalised almost all popular faces to perform, but the final list is yet to be announced. Also be it saas-sasur, dada-daadi, all the elders have also been included to add to the fun.”

Now coming to the theme and the set, this is for the first time that the team is going completely international in terms of look and feel.

The set will be a dynamic one which will change its colour and feel constantly with the help of LEDs. It guarantees to a mesmerize the live audience as well those watching at home.

Specialised professionals from UK and Spain have been flown down to enhance the charismatic appeal of the set.

Coming to the performances, there will be special dance shows by Brazillian dancers and Russian acts which will give viewers a never-seen-before experience. A team from London will work on the lighting.

Furthermore, the channel’s many iconic yester year characters like Tulsi (Smriti Irani), Prerna (Shweta Tiwari), Mr Bajaj (Ronit Roy), Parvati (Sakshi Tanwar) and more have been invited and a special honour will be bestowed upon them. Also a ‘Five Scrolls of Honour’ has been introduced wherein achievements of different shows in the last five years will be applauded.

Star Plus recently organised a jury meeting wherein 11 categories were judged. The jury list includes Senior Bollywood journalist, writer and film critic Bhawana Somaaya, Indiantelevision.com group founder, CEO & editor-in-chief Anil Wanvari, ABP News executive editor Vibha Kaul Bhat, and Cinevistaas writer, producer & creative head Siddharth Malhotra.

The ground event of the awards will be held on 17 May at the NSCI grounds and it will air sometime in June.
