Continuing to amaze the audiences with Rama’s wit and intelligence in solving every problem in Vijayanagar, Sony SAB’s Tenali Rama has been extremely popular amongst all of its viewers. Sultan (Shivendra), in his desperation of conquering Vijayanagar, has put forward another attempt to hurt Krishnadevaray.

Failing in his previous attempt of killing Krishnadevaray (Manav Gohil), Sultan sends yet another man, Shareefa (Ram Meher), to darbar with the challenge of ‘Magical Mani’. The Mani (Jewel) is made with such a material that makes it melt away within 2 hours of coming in contact with the human body. Shareefa, in a disguised form, emotionally convinces the king to take care of the Mani and keep his own eyes on stake in case he fails to protect it. Krishnadevaray, however, hands the custody of the Mani to Rama (Krishna Bharadwaj) due to his blind trust on him. On the other hand, Sultan has sent along a donkey to keep Rama busy with a task of ‘educating the donkey’, as he is the one capable of salvaging the situation.

With so many things on stake, will Rama be able to protect the Mani and save Krishnadevaray?

Krishna Bharadwaj, playing the role of Rama said, “Rama has the great responsibility of saving the king from yet another problem, but is distracted with the task to teach the donkey. As bizarre this sounds, it is going to bring a lot of laughter for the viewers. The entire cast had a hilarious time shooting for this track, especially with the donkey.”

Manav Gohil, playing the role of Krishandevaray said, “The responsibility of saving the ‘Mani’ is really challenging as Krishnadevaray is unaware of its special quality. However, as usual, he trusts Rama and it will be fun to see how they will save Vijayanagar together. Working with the entire team of Tenali Rama is always a great time as everyone has an amazing bond with each other.”
