Ankit Gupta opens up on prepping for emotional scenes in Colors’ Udaariyaan.

Colors’ Udaariyaanis high on intense drama. The show is currently exploring the main plot of the show wherein Jasmine whose biggest dream is to go to Canada breaks her marriage with Fateh after learning that his job in Canada has been cancelled. Both Vrik and Sandhu family asked Fateh and Tejo (Jasmine’s sister) to get married for the sake of family’s honor. Both Fateh and Tejo unwantedly got hitched to each other. The trio is going through an emotional turmoil as their basic dreams of their lives have been spoiled because of the turn of events.

Udaariyaan is produced by popular television actors Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta under their production banner Dreamiyata Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. & Devirosh Films. Actors Ankit Gupta, Isha Malviya and Priyanka Chaudhry play the characters of Fateh, Jasmine and Tejo respectively.

We got in touch with Ankit and asked him about how he is prepping up for all the emotional scenes.

Ankit quipped, “Off late, there have been many emotional scenes in the show as Fateh’s life has taken a complete turn over. His only dream for the longest time was to marry his love Jasmine, but just in a day, his dreams got severely crushed and to top it all, he had to marry Jasmine’s sister Tejo to safeguard the family honor. As an actor, I’m trying new techniques to get the emotions right. I am trying to do method acting. I sat aloof on the sets and mostly don’t interact with others unless it’s too important as it enables me to stay in the mood and zone for longer time. I am channelizing all my real-life experiences like that of a heart break, struggle and rejection to perform the character. I hope the viewers like my performance and the show”.
