Taarak Mehta’s team takes an initiative for My Clean India Campaign!

The cast along with the producer of SAB TV’s popular show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah went on to clean the slums nearby Film City.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s My Clean India Campaign is creating a rage throughout the country. While the Indian seems enthusiastic about this campaign, the team of SAB TV’s popular comedy show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is no lagging behind in contributing its bit to the campaign.
We heard that, “The actors of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah along with producer Asit Modi went to the slums near the Film City to contribute their bit in the Clean India Campaign. They took the brooms with them and cleaned the area of stagnant water and garbage.”
Talking about the Clean India Campaign by the Taarak Mehta team, producer Asit Modi says, “We are a committed lot. So, as part of the story line, we went to real slums and actually cleaned some parts.”
