This Sony TV show completes a milestone of 200 episodes!

And has been a consistent performer since the beginning.

Sony TV has always had a good run with its mythological shows. Be it the now off-air Sankat Mochan Mahabali Hanumaan and Suryaputra Karn or the on-going Mere Sai and Vighnaharta Ganesh, these shows have always fetched decent numbers.

And now, the cast of Vighnaharta Ganesh has another reason to celebrate. The story of the most loved Elephant God, which is currently cast on Sony TV, has crossed the landmark number of 200 episodes.

Produced by Contiloe Pictures, the show is known to be the first Indian television show to use motion capture technology to display a wide number of special effects to highlight a realistic mythological look for the entire ensemble to capture viewer attention.

The cast and crew cut a cake and celebrated on the sets to mark the occasion.

Abhimanyu Singh, the Producer of Contiloe Pictures Pvt Ltd said, “Vighnaharta Ganesha has been a great journey and this landmark reiterates our strength in telling some great historical and mythological stories to a new age audience. Our teams have worked night and day to pull off motion capture on daily basis, which has happened for the first time ever using such technology. We are thankful to the audiences for their continued love for the show.”

The show’s time slot has been shifted from the initial 8 pm to 7:30pm now.

We wish the cast and crew loads of congratulations!
