We are back with an interesting update from the world of television. Colors’ Barrister Babu is gaining the momentum all over again. The show is getting the love from the audience. The show recently went in for eight years leap and Aurra Bhatnagar Badoni got eased out of the show while actress Anchal Sahu got roped in to play the character of grown up Bondita in the show.

While in the beginning, the fans revolted against the makers’ decision, looks like now Anchal has made a place in the viewers’ hearts. Recently, the ratings of the show improved. Also, the fans trended for #AnvishthSlaysAsAnindita on twitter recently. We got in touch with Anchal and asked her about her reaction on the love from fans, she said, “Considering the feedback even before the shoot started, I was not expecting the viewers to shower so much of love on me. I am overwhelmed with the response”.

Speaking about shooting with Pravisht, she said, “It’s great working with him. We both improvise a lot during our scenes. There’s a good amount of give and take between both of us. We communicate and discuss before approaching scenes which helps us to deliver our best”.

The current track of the show revolves around Bondita disguising herself as a South Indian girl named ‘Vaijanti’ trying to find out about Anirudh’s feelings for Bondita. We asked Anchal about her preps to play a South Indian girl. The petite actress said, “I believe the only way to ace any character is to do a lot of homework and research. The Directors are always there to help but one does require a little homework. So, when I learned about the character, I watched Deepika Padukone’s performance in Chennai Express. I tried to pick some nuances from there, added some of my own and clubbed them with the inputs of my Director Mangesh sir. That’s how we brought ‘Vaijanti’ to live on screen”.

Speaking about portraying the character of Vaijanti, Anchal said, “My entire family watches the show together and Vaijanti’s character has a comic tinge which is highly appreciated by all. I see my family laugh out loud while watching the show. It’s really motivating to see the family smile. I hope that the viewers also have a great time watching the show”.
