TV actor Rishi Khurana to act in a short film on woman

Television actor Rishi Khurana who is a part of Life OK’s Laut Aao Trisha will soon be seen in a five minute short film. The proposed film will showcase the importance of women and how men cannot do without their presence.

Talking about his role in this yet untitled film, Rishi says, “I play a guy who wakes up one morning and realises the world has no women left. All women in his life and outside his life disappear mysteriously. He is the left to fend for himself. It’s then that he realises how he needs a woman to make his early morning tea, to make his breakfast and everything else. It’s a very interesting concept that we plan to explore through the movie.”

The movie though seeks to throw light on the paramount importance of women in our life will be light hearted and comical. “It’s not a serious film. There will be a lot of comical situations thrown in to emphasize on the importance of women in all our lives. All throughout we are taught that men are strong and women weak. We want to change that concept. Earlier women were consigned to do household work with men earning the bread by working out of their homes. But today even if a woman is employed outside she is expected to come home and cook and work which is unfair. We have to change that,” avers Rishi.

The movie will be shot on a high-resolution mobile camera and will be exhibited at short film festivals.
