When Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya and Ishq Subhan Allah came together

Zee TV as a channel has been ruling the TRP roost for quite sometime now and can boast of shows like Kumkum Bhagya, Kundali Bhagya and Ishq Subhan Allah, with the former two shows constantly making it to the first position and Ishq Subhan Allah maintaining the 3rd and 4th slot.

And guess what happened recently? Two actors of these chart topping shows bumped into each other. Co-incidentally, these two actors have worked with each other in the past.

Any clue as to who we are talking about?

We are referring to actors Mishal Raheja and Eisha Singh. The actors, who play King Singh and Zara Kabir Ahmed in Kumkum Bhagya and Ishq Subhan Allah respectively, bumped into each other as the two shows were shooting in the same vicinity.

Eisha and Mishal were a part of Colors’ Ishq Ka Rang Safed where Eisha had made her television debut. The show, which was about widow remarriage, was one of those concepts that was very much appreciated by the audience back then.

Says Mishal, “It was great seeing Eisha after so long. She was shooting right next to my set. It sort of rekindled our Ishq Ka Rang Safed memories and it was a nostalgic moment for us.”

The hunk continued, “It felt like we were shooting for the same old show on Colors for a few minutes. But then, it sunk in that we both were shooting for something else and were in different characters on the set which was kinda funny. We also started speaking and enacting nuances of our characters (King and Zara).”

Revealing that he and Eisha even had their meals together, Mishal said, “Hopefully we’ll keep bumping into each other. They mostly shoot in the same location that we shoot at.”
