‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ To Have a Special Cameo from Payal Nair

Star Plus’ Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has certainly had a success story that cannot be ignored by anyone at all. And we are not even talking about the fact that it is the first Hindi TV series to cross the 3000 episode mark and create history. For the past couple of months, the show has been constantly raking in huge numbers and stayed on top of the rating charts.

The makers certainly seem in no mood to let go of the topping habit as the upcoming drama in the show is sure to not have eyeballs switching over. As known, there will be some courtroom drama to look forward to in the show soon and that will be enabling a new entry.

Actress Payal Nair will be entering the show in a special cameo where she will be seen playing the role of the lawyer to Kartik (Mohsin Khan). In an interview with Bombay Times, Nair said, “I am returning to TV after over a year as I was busy with other work commitments. Besides, nothing exciting came my way.”

Usually known for playing negative characters, this will be a change to look forward to. On that, she says, “It’s better to do a powerful role for a few episodes than feel monotonous with a long-running character.”
