The actor was last seen in Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke and his exit was rather unceremonious to say the least. This seemingly attracted the makers and he became the latest one to be approached for the reality show.

We are now just over a month away from the premiere of the now-postponed Bigg Boss 2020 (Season 14). And while there are apparently a few names that are ‘confirmed’ to enter the house but there is also a long list of names that have either declined the offer or are still in talks with the makers.

Recently, we came across how actor Namiesh Taneja was in talks but then chose new show Aye Mere Humsafar over Bigg Boss. Now, the latest name that was in contention to be a part of the show was that of actor Ritvik Arora.

The actor was last seen in Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke and his exit was rather unceremonious to say the least. This seemingly attracted the makers and he became the latest one to be approached for the reality show. However, according to Bombay Times, Arora has declined the offer. He said, I got an offer to participate in ‘Bigg Boss 14’ last month, but I turned it down. I refused, because it is not my cup of tea.”

He added, I think everyone is going through their own ‘Bigg Boss’ in this quarantine period at their respective homes. I, for one, thought it would be too much for me at the moment. Perhaps, a little more time outside, a little better understanding of people, then I’d be ready to give it a shot.”

The likes of Nishant Malkani, Pavitra Punia, Naina Singh and Jasmin Bhasin are apparently the ones who have been confirmed to be a part of the show and when it comes to Arora, Bigg Boss 14 is certainly not happening this year around.

Joining the names of being approached for the show is Akanksha Puri, who recently quit Vighnaharta Ganesh and was in news last year for her infamous break-up with Paras Chhabra.
