This Actress Was Chosen From 900 Others For Star Plus’ Lead!

Star Plus show ‘Dhhai Kilo Prem‘ aired its first episode yesterday and looks like the casting for the same was one big task. The female lead, Anjali Anand aka Deepika was ‘the chosen one’ from among 900 other actresses.
Sandeep Sickand, the producer for the show, said they were tired of meeting so many candidates that he had almost given up. However, he saw Anjali at a coffee shop and got sure that she will be the heroine.
Anjali did not have any acting experience apart from having done a web series. However, she did give the audition and it went well.
And here she is, making her acting debut with the show! We wish her and the entire team all the best for the same.
