Sab TV’s popular show Aladdin: Naam Toh Suna Hoga is a contemporary take on the age-old fantasy tale of Aladdin and his magic lamp. The show stars youth sensations Siddharth Nigam and Avneet Kaur in the lead roles and it recently underwent a revamp. In the on-going track, Aladdin has come to Baghdad in a disguised identity of Ali. He was presented before Zafar’s court where his old aides see him for the first time after a year but Aladdin manages to keep up with his fake identity. Here comes a twist when Zafar calls Chimma Jalaad to find out Ali’s truth, who is no-one other than Aladdin’s Genie.

Our sources have told us an interesting update about the show. Gulegulfam (Shrashti Maheshwari) will be angry at Aladdin’s mother and on the other side, suspicious of Ali, she will start keeping an eye on him. She has a doubt that Ali is none other than Aladdin.

The revamp has introduced several new characters in the show, including a Chota Genie and female Genie called Genie Menie.

With Gulegulfam knowing Aladdin’s reality, it will be interesting to see how Ali protects his truth from her and others.
