Anita Hassanandani wants to play THIS character in Kasautii Zindagii Kay & its not Komolika!

Anita Hassanandani was reportedly in competition to replace Hina Khan as Komolika in ‘Kasauti Zindagi Ki 2′.

Popular TV actress Anita Hassanandani, who is currently juggling between three shows ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’, ‘Naagin 3’ and ‘Khatra Khatra Khatra’, is super-busy on the professional front. Recently, there were reports that Anita Hassanandani is also in competition to replace Hina Khan as Komolika in Ekta Kapoor’s reboot of ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’. But, Hina Khan recently revealed that the makers are not replacing her and she might come back in the Star Plus show after completing her film commitments.

During a recently held awards function, Anita Hassanandani was asked to name a current show & character she would like to do, after thinking a little, the actress replied to an entertainment portal, “Prerna from Kasautii Zindagii Kay”.

Yes, you read that right! Instead of Komolika, Anita Hassanandani wishes to play Prerna’s character in her close friend Ekta Kapoor’s show.

Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’, featuring Hina Khan, Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes in lead roles, is fetching good TRPs and viewers are loving the current track of Komolika & Prerna’s catfight.

For the uninitiated, Hina Khan aka Komolika will soon move out of the show to shoot for her next film with director Vikram Bhat. There were reports that popular actresses Aalisha Panwar, Anita Hassanandani and Krystle Dsouza were in talks to replace Hina Khan in the show. However, that’s not happening and the makers will reportedly introduce a new villain post Hina’s exit.
