Not Kanchi Singh but THIS Actress to play Gayu in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai

Star Plus popular show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai happens to be one of the longest running shows on Indian Television. And with a long running show come its own set of challenges. Everyone from the original star cast including Hina Khan, Karan Mehra, Rohan Mehra, and Kanchi Singh are no longer part of the show as they decided to move on. The show is currently ruling the roost with Mohsin and Shivangi’s love track of ‘Kartik’ and ‘Naira’ which keeps seeing its own sets of ups and downs!

Now we hear, Yeh Rishta will soon see a major reunion, when the entire family will be coming together. And of course that means that all the memorable characters on the show will be under one roof.

One of the major characters, that of Gayatri who was nicknamed ‘Gayu’, was earlier played by Kanchi Singh but had been missing in action from the last one year. But when the news of the character coming back was doing rounds, Kanchi Singh went on record denying her come back with the show and confirmed that she wasn’t returning to Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.

Now we hear that the makers have cast another actor to play the role. Deblina Chatterjee who rose to fame with Star Plus Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein as Aaliya will be seen playing the character of Gayatri.
