Kanwar Dhillon spoke to us about completing 9 years in the industry and here’s what the actor has to say.

Kanwar Dhillon aka Shiva from SHOWNAME has been garnering a lot of love from the fans and continues to entertain everyone with his acting skills. He recently completed 9 years in the industry and fans have been celebrating him on social media and all across.

We got in touch with the actor, and he said, ”Yes, fans have been celebrating 9 years of KD, which is only a year away from a decade, and it is going to pass like that anyway. It feels great, it feels like yesterday that I started out at the age of 19 when I was in junior college, and The Buddy Project came to me, I auditioned for it, I bagged it and I did for experience, Channel V was very big at that time as the youth was crazy behind those shows. I think for me, it was the best opportunity that came along when I did it, and it worked out really well for me because it was that show that I ended up doing Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha as the producers liked my work in the show and they asked me to audition for it. And then, the show changed everything for me.”

He adds, ”Looking at my journey, it is still a small one and there is a lot more to come because I feel like I haven’t done anything and things have just started. I have lived so many characters and done so many shows over the years, I’ve always and craved so much love from the audience, and fans, because at the end of the day, that is what you work for. When I look back, I think I can say it has taken me 9 years to finally get so much love from the people, the way they are giving it to me for Pandya Store, or after the show. This show, I think, is the best thing that has happened to me in a long long time, and Shiva is going to live with me forever, literally.”

He concluded by saying, ”I want to say thank you to all my fans who have stayed with me, stood by my side in all my ups and downs. There are people I know by their names who have been genuine followers over the years, and it is so much love from them. To my new growing family, on social media and everywhere else, thank you so much for all the love. I promise to keep entertaining the fans with different roles in the future, for now Shiva. I am what I am because of fans, my hard work, and my discipline as well, but at the end of the day, it is their love that makes it all even for us actors.”
