Team ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ to go to the U.S.?

It will be a first for the show, if at all it happens.

Star Plus’ Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is currently running parallel tracks i.e. of Naksh (Rishi Dev) and Keerti’s (Mohena Singh) marriage and of Suwarna and her biological son (whom she has kept a secret from everyone including Manish).

While currently the show’s track is centred around Keerti and Naksh and the drama surrounding their impending wedding, rumour has it that the show will soon shift focus and a part of the storyline will be shot in the U.S.

And our best bet is that Suwarna’s son’s track will be shot in The States. As per what we picked up from the telecast, Suwarna gave away her son to her brother as soon as he was born and hence, she keeps sending him (her brother) money every month.

So, if at all the show does go to shoot abroad, it will be the fourth time for the makers of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. The show has previously shot important chunks in Hong Kong, Cape Town, Bangkok and Switzerland.

Surprisingly, producer Rajan Shahi denied the development and told us, “No. This is not happening.”
