This Sony TV show to telecast a track based on GAY relationship soon!

Any guesses which one?

Sony TV’s Dil Hi Toh Hai will soon go the unconventional way by telecasting a track about gay relationships up next in the show.

The current track of the show is focusing on how Rithwik (Karan Kundrra) is hell bent on proving Palak (Yogita Bihani) as an incompetent doctor. And Palak wants to prove Rithwik wrong in any manner possible.

At present, Rithwik has been making office conditions impossible for Palak to work in and the lady has been fighting her way. But all too soon, she’ll find a way to get back at Rithwik and strike back.

In the coming episodes, Palak will find out about Robin, Rithwik’s (Gaurav Venkatesh) secretary being gay and will use this against Rithwik. She will befriend Robin and will convince him of Rithwik too being gay.

Believing Palak, Robin will start to impress Rithwik and will end up falling in love with him even more. And this will leave Rithwik completely puzzled by Robin’s behaviour.

Eventually, it will be revealed that this was all due to Palak and this prank will end up with Robin getting completely heartbroken.

We buzzed actor Gaurav Venkatesh who plays Robin in the show about his character. Says Gaurav, “My character is very complex, I would say. Its just not a gay guy who is in love with Rithwik Noon. He is also very sharp and smart and can not be underestimated.”

Ask him if he is afraid of getting stereotyped in such gay/effeminate roles, he says, “No, Not really. Its 2018 so people are a little less prejudiced. They will understand that this is just a role.”

Well, Dil Hi Toh Hai joins the the long list of shows that have shown homosexuality in their tracks before, some of which are Maryada: Lekin Kab Tak, Pyaar Ki Yeh Ek Kahani and Kaisi Yeh Yaariyaan among others.
