After Tu Sooraj… Kanika Maheshwari Is Back with ‘Dil Se Dil Tak’!

And the actress has a very interesting role to portray in the show.

Colors’ Dil Se Dil Tak was recently in the news for replacing their lead actor Siddharth Shukla. The makers then roped in Rohan Gandotra as the new Parth Bhanushali in the show.

Post Rohan, yet another big name has been roped in for the show and that is none other than Kanika Maheshwari. Kanika recently quit her Star Plus show, Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh Piyaji.

As per a report in Bombay Times, Kanika will be seen in the role of Madamji, a well connected brothel owner, to whom Rishab will hand over Parth and Teni’s (Jasmin Bhasin) daughter Ipshita after kidnapping her. Kanika will be seen in grey shades in the show.

We contacted Kanika who told us, “My role is that of a very head strong woman. It is a cameo role and there is a lot of excitement from my end to play the role. I will be seen in complete grey shades.”

Kanika’s look (as seen above) in the show is alluring and at the same time overpowering like that of Madhuri’s look from Devdas.
